Year One have been exploring what life was like during the Victorian era! During an exciting interactive workshop, the children created a family tree to discover how far back the Victorian era was. They learned that Victorian children often had to walk long distances to school and ate not-so-tasty slop for breakfast. They also got the chance to handle fascinating objects from the past, such as an old camera and a slate, comparing them with the things we use today.
