Lunch
At Holmesdale Community Infant School we endorse the importance of healthy food to nourish young minds, and offer nutritious two course school lunches.
Menus are rotated to ensure that meals are varied and interesting – as well as tasty. Special arrangements can be made to suit children with particular dietary requirements.
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are now entitled to receive a school lunch, through the introduction of the government’s universal infant free school meals policy (known as complimentary meals).
All children will automatically receive a complimentary meal. Parents should note that if they wish to change their decision at any time from complimentary meals to packed lunches or vice versa they will be required to give at least one week’s notice in writing.
